RequiredExperience:

  • 5 to 12 years of experience is required.
  • A minimum of 312 years of hands-on IT application development experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT development experience with Guidewire (Claim Center (CC) configuration, Policy Center (PC) integration/configuration, and Billing Center (BC) 8.0 or higher) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL (SQL Server/Oracle/DB2) or NoSQL-related technologies is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience integrating with RESTful/SOAP web services is required.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate should design, develop, implement, and maintain complex integrations between Guidewire (Claim Center (CC) configuration, Policy Center (PC) integration/configuration, and Billing Center (BC)) and external systems (legacy applications, third-party services, etc.) using APIs, web services, and message queues.
  • Candidate must analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Guidewire”s integration capabilities (e.g., IT Types, Business Services, Data Maps).
  • Candidate should write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and Guidewire development standards.
  • Candidate will conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing with QA and other teams.
  • Candidate must troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
  • Candidate should stay up to date on the latest Guidewire integration features and functionalities.
  • Candidate must estimate integration development effort and provide accurate timelines.
  • Candidate will document technical design and implementation decisions.
  • Candidate should contribute to the development and maintenance of integration automation tools and scripts.
  • Candidate must stay informed about industry trends and best practices in application integration.
  • Candidate should work effectively with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to understand requirements and design optimal integration solutions.
  • Candidate must effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Candidate should proactively identify and mitigate integration risks.
  • Candidate will participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Essentialskills

  • Candidate must have proven experience in configuration and integration with Guidewire (Claim Center (CC) configuration, Policy Center (PC) integration/configuration, and Billing Center (BC) 8.0 or higher).
  • Candidate should have experience working with monitoring tools like AppDynamics.
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of object-oriented design best practices.
  • Candidate should know about researching and preparing detailed functional specifications.
  • Candidate must have good knowledge of estimating, planning, and tracking development tasks.
  • Candidate should have experience debugging production issues and resolving them.
  • Candidate must have experience identifying application performance bottlenecks and resolving them.
  • Candidate should have in-depth hands-on experience with continuous integration practices, processes, and tools (Jenkins, JUnit, GitLab).
  • Candidate must be proficient in writing configurable, maintainable, and testable code in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) domain knowledge is a plus.
